Refreshing!!! That’s how to describe Althea René new cd “In the Moment”. The essence of her style captivates you from start to finish. The title selection In the Moment sets the mood. I love it and can’t wait to pop it in to my cd player for those Summer Sunday drives. This cd is complete relaxing, groovy and exciting. The selection I Can get’s the juices flowing with Althea’s graceful playing and Kloud 9 on vocals. My favorite selection is Number One a Patrice Rushen cover from days past. When I read the play list on the cd and saw she decided to cover this classic tune, I wondered how Althea was going to approach this classic tune (well she did it with style and grace). Me Myself and I is off the hook with the vocals of Pam English, this will be a favorite to her many new and old fans.
