Jeff Lorber “Flipside” Narada Jazz

This new project has a feel of early Jeff Lorber Fusion (Arista). This cd will travel with me this summer (great music for the road). My favorite selection on the cd is Flipside the title cut. Flipside is funky and has a smooth bounce. Check out Tune 88 a remake of one of Jeff’s early classics. This selection has a catchy groove and shows of Jeff’s ability to capture the vibe. The selection Ooh La La shows off Jeff’s polished keyboard playing in a sweet and mellow fashion. Some key players on this project are Paul Jackson Jr., Lenny Castro, David Mann, Andrea Martin and a host of others. This cd is a prize so go out a purchase you a copy.
