Brian Simpson – “It’s All Good” – Rendezvous Music Just what the cd title is, the latest from Brian Simpson is all good. When I was working in record retail, shoppers would say “I need some music to impress someone special tonight”. Weather it was for a romantic evening or a dinner party; I would recommend music on the style of what Brian Simpson cerates. This cd is fantastic starting with the title cut It’s All Good; you can feel the magic immediately. I enjoy the way Brian tickles the ivories with the selection “Here With You”, this track is defiantly set the mood. My favorite is “Twilight” it’s so mellow and easy with Ron King assisting on trumpet. I fell in love with Brian‘s first cd Closer Still especially the selection “Brazilia” with Jonathan Butler. After that experience I was waiting for Brian to release another cd, now that It’s All Good is here the wait was worth it. Accompanying Brian on this project is Dave Koz, Michael Lington, Marc Antione and a host of others. Take a trip over to your local record store and make a sound investment by purchasing this cd.
